Coldwell Banker just released its 2008 Home Price Comparison Index. The Index compares home prices between 315 communities in America using a standard 2,200 square foot, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath house as the point for comparison.
A home of this size in La Jolla sells for an average $1.8 million, more than any other community in the country. This home price makes La Jolla more expensive than notable neighborhoods in Beverly Hills, Palo Alto, and Greenwich, CT.
